There are many types of bets customers can have instead of the traditional single bet.  They give the opportunity to increase the customers winnings, as the odds on each winner helps to multiply the odds on the next winner. We know this may sound a little confusing, so we will try and explain it a little better.

Single Bet:
A Single bet is where a customer places a bet on one event. This can be on a horse, football, next President or anything the bookmaker is willing to take a bet on.  If your selection wins the event then you collect your winnings from the bookmaker.  Multiple bets contain more than one selection, which means you have the possibility of having more than one winner contributing to the winnings in your bet.  The most popular types of multiple bets you can have are as follows;

Double:
A double is a bet which contains 2 selections. The Selections can be on mixed event types, such as a horse and a dog, or a Tennis player and a snooker player.  In a win double, you would be betting on 2 selections, both to win their event.  Both must win for you to collect winnings on your Bet.

Treble:
A treble works similar to a double bet except it contains three selections.  In a win treble, your three selections must win to get a return on your bet.

Accumulator:
Anwin accumulator bet can have any amount of selections, but every selection in your bet must win.  That is why it is called an accumulator.  The winnings accumulate as each selection in the bet wins.  But if one loses, then your whole Betting is a loser.

Trixie Bet:
A Trixie bet is made up of four bets, and contains three selections in different events. The bet includes three doubles and one treble. Two of your selections must win to get a return.  If you have two winners then you will have a winning double, if you are lucky enough to get three winners, then you will have a winning treble, and each of your three doubles will have won too.

Patent:
A Patent in similar to a Trixie but includes 3 singles also.  There are seven bets involving three selections in different events. The bets contained in the patent area single on each selection, three doubles and one treble. Only one correct selection is needed to guarantee a return.

Yankee:
A win Yankee bet contains eleven bets which has four selections in different events. The bet includes six doubles, four trebles, and an accumulator. You need a minimum of two winning selections to get a return.

Lucky 15:
A Lucky 15 bet is very popular, as it usually offers a bonus if you only have one winner. The bonus varies from double the odds on your only winner to a 10% bonus on four winners.  Each bookmaker offer different bonuses so check out our site for full details.  A Lucky 15 bet involves 4 selections in different events.
